Condemnation for violence poured in after Global Times reporter Fu Guohao was illegally seized and brutally assaulted by rioters at the Hong Kong International Airport around midnight Tuesday.

Radical protesters at the airport beat and tied him up, claiming that he took photos of them.

Rioters told other reporters in the terminal that they searched Fu’s bag and found a T-shirt with a banner saying, “I love Hong Kong Police,” so they attacked him.

Fu was seen rolling on the ground with bruises on his body and his head bleeding.

First aid personnel arrived to give medical attention to Fu, who had almost passed out while surrounded by the protesters for about 20 minutes.

据央视新闻报道，香港警方于8月14日凌晨3：25发布声明，对发生在机场的暴力行为予以极严厉的谴责。

声明称，8月13日晚至8月14日凌晨，大量示威者于香港国际机场非法集结，并禁锢、欺凌及殴打一名旅客及一名记者，对他们造成身心伤害，警方对激进示威者的严重暴力行为予以极严厉谴责。

事件中，警方共拘捕五名男子，涉嫌非法集结、藏有攻击性武器、袭警及破坏社会安宁等。共有两名警务人员受伤，被送往北大屿山医院治理。

“香港属于中国，而你该找个工作”

据新华社报道，13日上午，香港国际机场恢复运作。香港机场管理局表示，13日早晨6时起实施航班重新编配，陆续恢复航班起降，但航班起降仍受影响。

Airport Authority Hong Kong has obtained an interim injunction to restrain persons from unlawfully and willfully obstructing or interfering with the proper use of Hong Kong International Airport, according to a statement released by Hong Kong International Airport on Wednesday.

据央视新闻报道，今天上午，香港机场管理局发布声明称，机场管理局已取得法庭临时禁制令，禁止任何人非法地及有意图地故意阻碍或干扰香港国际机场的正常使用。

“Persons are also restrained from attending or participating in any demonstration or protest or public order event in the airport other than in the area designated by the Airport Authority,” said the statement.

任何人也不得在机场出席或参与任何在机场管理局指定地方之外举行的示威、抗议或公众活动。临时禁制令清楚表明，不可理解临时禁制令为批准任何有违反公安条例的示威、抗议或公众活动。机场管理局正在取得有关临时禁制令的盖印副本中，并会在取得有关盖印副本后展示该临时禁制令。

According to ChinaNews, the collective turmoil cost the airport’s daily loss of 206,000 passengers, 13,863 tonnes of cargos, 10.16 billion yuan in airfreight cargo value, and 22.85 million yuan in revenue of the Airport Authority Hong Kong.

And it was even too early to assess how badly the city's image has been harmed.

A light show and drone performance stunned residents in Shenzhen last Sunday night.

Huge Chinese national flags were projected onto skyscrapers at Shenzhen Bay. 600 drones formed Chinese characters and figures, such as “I love Shenzhen”, “I love Hong Kong” and “I love China”.
