新冠肺炎在日本蔓延

 

近期，日本多地都出现了新增新冠肺炎确诊案例。有关疫情是否会影响东京奥运会等话题，也成为了舆论焦点。

日本厚生劳动大臣加藤胜信表示，日本人民需要对感染新冠肺炎抱有谨慎态度。“现在开始，我们必须对感染传播有预测，必须建立相关医护系统，防止病人病情转为危重或死亡。”

The government is having difficulty tracking the infection routes. According to the Kyodo News agency, Japan has seen an increase in patients “from people with no direct connection to China.”

CGTN援引日本共同社报道，日本政府面临追踪病毒感染途径的难题。日本患者中，“与中国没有直接接触”的患者数量在上升。

“Japan seems to have entered a new phase where the infection route of several new cases is unclear,” said Kato, vowing to discuss ways to contain the viral spread.

日本似乎进入了疫情的新阶段，数例患者的感染途径不明，” 加藤胜信表示，他表示要讨论防止病毒扩散的方法。

According to Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, 99 more people on board the quarantined Diamond Princess cruise liner were infected with novel coronavirus pneumonia, bringing the total to 454.

据日本政府周一确认，在“钻石公主”号邮轮新一批接受检测的504人中，有99人被确诊感染新冠病毒。至此，这艘邮轮上确诊感染者总数已达454人。

Aside from the confirmed cases of infection on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, there are only dozens of confirmed cases in Japan, which has attracted high attention of the Japanese government, media and medical institutions, Marukawa Tomoo, a professor from the Institute of Social Science of the University of Tokyo, told the Global Times on Sunday. Therefore, there may not be a large-scale outbreak in Japan.

东京大学社会科学研究所教授丸川知雄16日在接受《环球时报》记者采访时称，日本国内新冠肺炎确诊人数只有几十名，目前已经引起了政府、媒体和医疗机构的重视，因此日本可能不会发生“大爆发”情况。

Emoji今年也不负众望，又推出了好一批新表情。

The Unicode Consortium, which administers the emoji we all know and love, has announced the first group of new emoji for 2020.

统一码联盟发布了2020年第一批新表情符号，此前发布的表情我们都很熟悉，也很喜爱。

Officially the group is known as “Emoji 13.0” and includes 62 new emoji along with 55 gender and skin-tone variants for a total of 117 new emoji coming to your phone.

新表情官方名称是“Emoji 13.0”，包含62个新表情以及55个性别和肤色种类，你手机上总共会有117个新的表情符号。

The new group of emoji features new gender-inclusive options including both men and women in tuxes, in wedding dresses, and bottle-feeding a baby. Other firsts are a transgender flag and a transgender symbol.

新的表情符号的主要特点是对性别更包容，男人和女人的表情都有穿无尾礼服的、穿婚纱的、拿奶瓶给婴儿喂奶的。首次出现的表情还有变性人旗帜和变性人符号。

Then, of course, there are tons of new creatures, body parts, people, and items including pinched fingers, an anatomical heart, lungs, a ninja, a black cat, a mammoth, a dodo, a weird-looking seal, a worm, an olive, a tamale, fondu, bubble tea, a roller skate, a piñata, nesting dolls, a mouse trap, a plunger, a headstone, and more.

南极的气温又创新高

 

南极洲北部阿根廷研究基地驻扎的气候专家刚刚记录了这个通常冰封的大陆有记录以来的最高温度。

联合国世界气象组织的初步数据显示，南极半岛的温度达到了64.9华氏度，也就是18.3摄氏度。这一数据超过了2015年3月份17.5摄氏度的高温记录。

Rising temperatures are alarming there because Antarctica, for one thing, contains the vast majority of Earth’s freshwater ice, along with Greenland.

南极不断上升的气温令人担忧。首先，因为南极和格陵兰有着地球上绝大多数的淡水冰。

Moreover, according to the WMO, temperatures in this particular area have warmed some 3 degrees Celsius over the last 50 years, and 87% of the nearby glaciers have retreated during that period.

而且世界气象组织称，这个特定区域的气温在过去50年里上升了3摄氏度，附近87%的冰川都缩小了。

Worse, the retreat is accelerating. And when glaciers melt, bad things happen: Ice flowing from Antarctica’s Thwaites Glacier, for example, is thought to be a major contributor to sea-level rise.

更糟糕的是，冰川还在继续缩小。冰川融化的后果很严重，比如大家都认为从南极思韦茨冰川流出的冰是海平面上升的主要原因。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

芬达推出鸡尾酒口味了

 

芬达推出了一款新的椰林飘香口味 Piña Colada，这是一种南美的鸡尾酒，主要原料是菠萝和椰子。

听说这款新芬达不光单独喝很好，兑在酒里也不错。

Fresh off the news of the release of cherry vanilla Coke, @Candyhunting posted a photo of the Piña Colada Fanta, with a caption that says the drink is coming out on Monday, February 10. The drink itself is a clear color, and the bottle says that it's made with 100 percent natural flavors. The label also says the drink is caffeine-free.

樱桃香草可乐上市的消息一出，@Candyhunting就放出了椰林飘香芬达的照片，标题写着这款饮料将于2月10日周一上市。这款饮料很清澈，瓶子上写着100%纯天然，标签上也写着不含咖啡因。

There’s no telling if the Piña Colada Fanta will taste more like pineapple or more like coconut, but I'd predict it will be stronger flavors than say, a LaCroix, with a nice balance between the two fruits.

不知道椰林飘香芬达的味道是菠萝味多一点，还是椰子味多一点，但我觉得会比LaCroix红酒味道更浓，是两种水果味的完美结合。

The coconut will make it a refreshing sip, while the pineapple with add a bit of punch with the carbonation.

椰子味很爽口，菠萝味则加强了一点碳酸的感觉。
