Chinese Olympic champion Sun Yang will face a Court of Arbitration for Sport hearing on Nov 15, and it will be an open hearing as he had demanded, Zhang Qihuai, Sun’s legal representative, said. The court will hold a hearing for Sun in Montreux, Switzerland, and the media and the public will be allowed to attend the hearing, Zhang said on his Sina Weibo account on Sunday night.
据受理孙杨兴奋剂案件的张起淮律师在微博上确认，国际体育仲裁法庭（CAS）将于2019年11月15日在瑞士蒙特勒举行听证会，应孙杨要求，届时将允许媒体及公众进入听证现场旁听。
“In the history of CAS, there has been only one public trial before,” Zhang said. “Sun insisted on a public trial to express both determination and confidence.”
“在CAS裁决运动员案件的历史中，此前只有过一次公开开庭审理。孙杨坚决要求公开开庭审理，表达的既是决心也是信心。”张起淮说。
“We asked for a public hearing only to tell the truth in fair circumstances,” Zhang told Xinhua. “No one can turn a lie to truth and vice versa. We believe the public knows that. Sun Yang will provide enough facts to prove that his side made no procedural mistake. The CAS accepted our request.”
据新华网报道，张起淮在接受采访时表示：“公开听证会就为了公正和公平，还原事实！假的真不了，真的也假不了，一切自有公论。孙杨会提供大量的事实证明自己在程序上没有任何问题，CAS也同意了孙杨的请求。”
“I look forward to proving my innocence in front of the world, let me eliminate all interference and noise, and devote my heart to my favorite swimming career,” Sun said on his Sina Weibo account.
同一天，孙杨本人也在微博上表示，“期待在世人面前证明我的清白，让我排除一切干扰和杂音，心无旁骛地投入我最热爱的游泳事业。”
Sun’s Weibo post went viral last Sunday night, and related topics had been viewed over 100 million times by noon on Wednesday.
孙杨的微博表态在上周日就开始引发网友围观，截至本周三中午，相关话题阅读量也超过1亿次。

Sun Yang is facing a CAS hearing over an incident last September at his home in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, when he rejected a doping test after questioning the credentials of testers. The IDTM, however, claimed that Sun resisted the test with violence and took the case to FINA.
2018年9月4日晚，IDTM公司（International Doping Tests & Management，国际泳联授权的兴奋剂检测公司）三名工作人员至孙杨住处对其进行赛外反兴奋剂检查，IDTM随后给国际泳联（FINA）报告说“孙杨暴力抗检”，而孙杨表示“他全力配合检查，但检查过程中检查人员存在多项违规操作”。
On November 19, 2018, the world swimming governing body held a hearing for the case in Lausanne. Although the Federation Internationale De Natation Association (FINA) in January ruled he did not violate doping regulations on January 3, the World Anti-Doping Agency appealed to the CAS and is seeking stricter punishment.
2018年11月19日，国际泳联就此事在瑞士洛桑举行听证会，2019年1月3日，国际泳联反兴奋剂委员会做出裁决：IDTM此次执行的兴奋剂检查无效；孙杨没有兴奋剂违规行为。此后，国际反兴奋剂机构（WADA）不认可国际泳联的裁决，将此案上报给国际体育仲裁法庭要求举行听证会。
On July, 19, Sun’s side made a public request that CAS should allow public access to ensure fairness.
孙杨及其律师团队于7月19日发表声明“要求CAS举行听证会时向公众开放，以求公开透明，证明自己的清白”。
就在发布会时间地点确认前几天，国际泳坛则曝出一桩涉药丑闻。美国奥运金牌选手Conor Dwyer于上周五宣布退役，此前他因兴奋剂问题，面临长达20个月的禁赛。
Dwyer也是孙杨在泳池中的劲敌，2016年里约奥运会上，孙杨勇夺男子200米自由泳金牌，Dwyer则获得该项目铜牌。
The 30-year-old Conor Dwyer, who won relay gold medals in 2012 and 2016 and an individual bronze in 2016, tested positive three times between Nov. 15 and Dec. 20 last year. His ban was made effective on Dec. 21, meaning he wouldn’t have been eligible for next year’s Olympics.

In a news release sent out by his lawyer shortly after his suspension was made public, Dwyer called taking the prohibited substance “an honest but unfortunate mistake.”

It appears that Olympic gold medalist Conor Dwyer will not be representing the USA at this summer’s World Championships after all, as his name no longer appears on an updated roster posted to the USA Swimming website with a date of May 1st.
值得注意的是，游泳运动新闻网站Swimswam曾在今年5月23日报道，作为奥运金牌选手，Conor Dwyer的名字并没有出现在5月1日更新的今年7月韩国光州游泳世锦赛名单中，即他可能不会代表美国队参赛。
SwimSwam reached out both to Dwyer and USA Swimming to see if there was any explanation as to why Dwyer is no longer on the roster, but did not receive a response to either inquiry.
