今年国庆档，除了电影《我和我的祖国》，另一部以真实事件改编的空难片《中国机长》也掀起了观影热潮。
据猫眼电影专业版统计数据显示，截至10月8日，《中国机长》上映第9天，总票房突破20亿元，暂居2019年票房榜第6位。
The Captain is based on a real-life incident that happened on May 14, 2018, when the cockpit windshield of a Sichuan Airlines flight shattered while the plane was flying at 32000 feet.
影片根据2018年5月14日川航3U8633航班机组成功处置特情改编。当天，川航3U8633航班从重庆江北机场起飞飞往拉萨。在飞行途中，航班驾驶室的玻璃突然爆裂脱落，当时飞机高度32000英尺（约9800米）。
Pilot Liu Chuanjian managed to regain control of and manually slowed the plane, making a successful landing in Chengdu. All 128 people aboard the Airbus A319 survived.
生死关头，机长刘传建在驾驶舱玻璃脱落、副驾驶受伤几乎被吸出窗外的情况下，临危不惧、沉着冷静、正确处置，最终让飞机安全降落，确保了机上全部128名人员的生命安全，创造了世界民航史上的一个奇迹。
Directed by Andrew Lau Wai-Keung and starring Zhang Hanyu, Ou Hao, Du Jiang and Yuan Quan, the film The Chinese Pilot hit Chinese theaters on Sept. 30, 2019.
影片《中国机长》由导演刘伟强执导，张涵予、欧豪、杜江、袁泉等演员主演。
片中，扮演机长的是张涵予。有着“硬汉男星”之称的他，这回在银幕上演出了一个寡言少语，却又大胆心细、果敢坚毅的英雄机长形象。
袁泉饰演的是乘务长毕男，在最危机的时刻，坚守岗位，照顾着机舱内乘客和机组人员的情绪。
袁泉精湛的演技也收获了网友好评，在影片点映后就登上了微博热搜。有网友评价：“只要她在镜头中，就时刻在讲故事，连一个微表情都不会浪费。”
Although there are many news reports about the May 14 incident of Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8633 in 2018, audiences that went to see “The Captain” still had a visceral response to the movie, with some moviegoers posting comments on Chinese social media that the film terrified them.
虽然在2018年川航3U8633事发时已经有很多新闻报道，但观众表示观看影片《中国机长》时依然能感受到生死一线的惊恐，被深深震撼到了。
影片对细节的真实还原，也得到了当事航班乘客的认可。
女孩王维是川航3U8633当事航班乘客，她曾做客今年年初央视《开讲啦》的一期节目，讲到自己的亲身经历。
王维先是感谢了刘传建机长，她哽咽着表示，“他给了我第二次生命”。王维讲到，当时自己是跟男友周建强计划一起去西藏纳木错看星空，没想到竟遇到了这样的险情。
据红星新闻报道，王维和男友周建强在国庆假期去看了影片《中国机长》。周建强接受记者采访时表示，自己整体为电影打分8分，而女朋友王维从头哭到尾。他表示，“很感动，整体感觉还不错，尤其是挡风玻璃破裂那一段很真实。”
“我也是更详细的了解到那一次事件，有那么多人对我们牵挂着，对每一个付出的人感恩，谢谢你们！敬畏生命，敬畏职责，敬畏规章！”
At 6:27 on May 14, 2018, Sichuan Airlines 3U8633 flight from Chongqing to Lhasa took off normally at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, carrying 9 crew members and 119 passengers including Captain Liu Chuanjian.
2018年5月14日6时27分，从重庆飞往拉萨的川航3U8633航班在重庆江北机场正常起飞，载有包括机长刘传健在内的9名机组人员和119名乘客。
At around 7:06, the plane was flying at an altitude of about 9,800 meters. At this point, the windshield of the cockpit suddenly burst.
7时06分左右，飞机飞行高度约9800米。此时，驾驶舱的风挡玻璃突然爆裂。
民航客机的风挡玻璃通常有外层、中层和内层三层，而且其韧性和抗压能力是普通玻璃的两三千倍。理论上，即使内层玻璃破裂，中层和外层玻璃仍能抵挡机舱内外两倍的压差。但出于职业敏感，机长刘传健还是迅速做出决定：立即返航最近的成都双流机场。
就在刘传健调转机头，抓起话筒向地面管制部门发出“风挡裂了，我们决定备降成都”的信息时，整个驾驶舱右前座风挡玻璃突然爆裂。
Part of the co-pilot’s body was sucked out of the plane due to the sudden decompression and he was saved only by his seat belt. The plane lost most of its automated controls.
由于突然失压，副机长的部分身体已经吸出窗外。幸好安全带发挥了作用。当时飞机丧失了大部分自动控制功能。
After the cockpit lost pressure, the wind blew over the flight component control panel, destroying many of the data boards and making it impossible to confirm. The destruction of the control panel is equivalent to the change of the aircraft from a smart car to a walking tractor. Automatic driving is no longer possible and must be done manually.
驾驶舱失压后，狂风吹翻了飞行组件控制面板，很多数据板都遭到破坏无法确认。控制面板被破坏，就相当于飞机从智能汽车变成了手扶拖拉机，自动驾驶已没有可能，必须依靠手动来完成。
At an altitude of nearly 10,000 meters, a gaping hole in the cockpit could quickly lead to two deadly consequences - low temperatures and lack of oxygen in the cockpit. Theoretically, at an altitude of 9,800 meters, the temperature outside the jet is around minus 40 degrees Celsius.
近万米高空，驾驶舱破了一个大洞，将迅速导致两个致命后果——低温、驾驶舱内缺氧。理论上，9800米的高度，舱外的温度为零下40度。
7时10分，西南空管局收到了3U8633航班发出的航空器遇险代码A7700，全体值班管制员立即进入紧急工作状态。他们指挥空中6架飞机紧急避让，成都双流机场跑道外的8架飞机在空管的指挥下全部停止起飞，一切只为3U8633的紧急迫降提供最优的空域环境。
事故发生34分钟后，3U8633航班降落在成都双流机场。
At the meeting held by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and Sichuan provincial government, the crew of Flight 3U8633 was honored as the “CAAC Heroic Crew.” Liu Chuanjian, the pilot for Sichuan Airlines Flight 3U8633, has been given the honorary title of “CAAC Heroic Captain”.
事发后，中国民用航空局和四川省决定，授予川航3U8633航班“中国民航英雄机组”称号，授予刘传健“中国民航英雄机长”称号，副驾驶、第二机长等均获表彰。
有网友提到，电影中的一句台词令人印象深刻：“从飞行员到乘务员，我们每个人都经历了日复一日的训练，就是为了能保证大家的安全，这也是我们这些人为什么在这架飞机上的意义。”
