A Chinese court has ruled that bike-sharing startup Ofo, once valued at upwards of $2 billion, has no ability to pay its massive debts to either suppliers and users, adding another chapter to a cautionary tale for investors in China’s frothy startup sector.

中国一家法院裁定曾经市值超过20亿美元的共享单车公司ofo无能力向供应商和用户偿还巨额债务，这又向中国泡沫创业板块的投资者敲响了警钟。

Ofo “has basically no assets” and therefore cannot repay Tianjin Fuji-Ta Bicycle, a supplier that sued the operator of the bike-share company this year to recover the roughly $36 million it was owed, a court in the city of Tianjin ruled.

天津市一家法院做出判决，ofo“基本上没有资产”，因此无法偿还欠天津富士达自行车公司的债务。该供应商今年起诉了这家共享单车运营商，想要追回约3600万美元的欠款。

It noted that the company’s bank accounts either have a zero balance or are frozen, and that it had no property, cars, or investment assets either, in a verdict first reported by China Securities Journal, part of the state-run Xinhua news group.

All of Sprite’s bottles are currently 100 per cent recyclable but it’s more difficult to recycle a green bottle into a clear bottle through mechanical recycling - which is the most widespread recycling method.

雪碧瓶目前都是100%可回收的，但机械回收绿瓶子再变成透明瓶子更加困难，而机械回收是最为广泛应用的回收方法。

And it’s not just the plastic bottles that are changing - glass Sprite bottles will also now also be clear. But the changes to the glass bottles won’t happen until next year.

不只塑料瓶换了，雪碧的玻璃瓶现在也要换成透明的。但玻璃瓶换代明年才能实现。

The cans will also have a new look in line with the new brand identity - but green is very much still part of the Sprite brand.

2027年印度人口将超中国

 

一份新的联合国报告称，再有不到十年的时间，印度就要超过中国成为世界人口最多的国家。

目前全球总人口约77亿，中国和印度所占比重约为37%。中国现有人口约14亿，印度人口13亿。

But by 2027, India will have more people than China, according to the UN's 2019 World Population Prospects report released Monday, and by 2050 the gap is expected to have widened even further.

但据周一发布的联合国2019年世界人口展望报告显示，2027年印度人口将超过中国，到2050年中印人口差距预计会继续拉大。

“Between 2019 and 2050, 55 countries or areas are expected to see their populations decrease by at least 1%,” the report said, mostly due to low-levels of fertility and in some cases, high numbers of emigration.

It’s been said for a bit that Disney was planning a theme area based on Marvel characters at Disneyland and that it could open at some point in 2020. (Shocking, since the last of the films in the MCU only raked in north of $2 billion.) However, the progress and scope of the park are beyond what had thus far been reported.

The Times says that the city of Anaheim has approved “a handful of building permits” for projects that include “a bathroom overhaul, a retail outlet, a microbrewery, a character meet-and-greet area, plus improvements to behind-the-scenes buildings.” That includes a 2,071-square-foot retail area. The permits assess the value of these projects at $14 million.
