特朗普威胁要关闭美墨边境
众所周知，美国总统特朗普对于美国和墨西哥之间的边境问题一直都“耿耿于怀”，曾经多次表示要关闭边境。不过这一次，他要动真格的了？
美国时间29日，特朗普针对非法移民问题连发三条推特，并威胁要关闭美墨边境。
给大家总结一下，特朗普的意思基本可以概括为：
1. “The DEMOCRATS have given us the weakest immigration laws anywhere in the World. Mexico has the strongest, & they make more than $100 Billion a year on the U.S. "
1. 民主党给了美国全世界最脆弱的移民法；而墨西哥最强悍，每年能从美国赚一千亿美元。
2. “Therefore, CONGRESS MUST CHANGE OUR WEAK IMMIGRATION LAWS NOW, & Mexico must stop illegals from entering the U.S through their country and our Southern Border. ”
2. 美国国会应该现在就修改移民法，墨西哥必须停止让非法移民进入美国。
3. “If Mexico doesn’t immediately stop ALL illegal immigration coming into the United States throug our Southern Border, I will be CLOSING the Border, or large sections of the Border, next week. ”

According to Xinhuanet, in response to Trump’s latest accusation, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said on 29th that the Mexican side is doing its best to deal with illegal immigration and “we want to maintain good relations with the U.S. government.”

US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said the “breaking point has arrived” for the US immigration system.
据CNN报道，美国海关和边境保护局（CBP）局长凯文•麦卡里曾表示，美国移民管制已达到了“极限”。
Trump, in Florida on Friday afternoon, said he could close the border to trade for a “long time” and insisted the US had run out of detention space for undocumented immigrants.

It’s unclear what Trump means by “CLOSING the Border, or large sections of the Border.” Past presidents shut down parts of the border at least four times - after John F. Kennedy’s assassination, to prevent cannabis imports, after a border patrol agent was kidnapped, and immediately following 9/11. All of those instances were short lived.

Now, consumers in the United States depend on Mexican farmers for fresh fruit and vegetables like avocados, tomatoes, strawberries, grapes and mangoes. Mexico relies heavily on American soybeans, corn, dairy products, chickens, beef and other goods.

If the border were shut down, consumers would most likely see an immediate spike in food prices, and supplies of fresh food could dwindle from grocery store shelves in a matter of days. American farmers would lose a major market, causing a drop in prices for their crops and a potential buildup of their goods.
