是的，你没听错，故宫开了家火锅店！这事儿还上了微博热搜，还喜提当日北京热门美食榜第一名。
Corner Towner Restaurant opened on the Lunar New Year's Day serving hot pot, roast duck and "palace snacks." It offers a dining experience fit for royalty, including a hot pot featuring chrysanthemum soup stock, which is said to have been Empress Dowager Cixi's favorite.
这家火锅店名为“故宫角楼餐厅”，于大年初一开业，主打火锅、鸭卷和各类“宫廷小吃”。餐厅提供了适合皇室成员的用餐体验，包括以菊花汤为主的火锅，据说这是慈禧太后的最爱。
The menu reads like an imperial edict: “By the mandate of heaven, the emperor hereby decrees…”
菜单是以“圣旨”的形式来设计，上书：“奉天承运，皇帝诏曰……”。
Portraits of emperors and empresses hanging on the walls include humorous sayings such as “no problem is too big that can’t be swept under a hot pot.”
餐厅内墙上挂满了帝后像，还配有故宫偏爱的“卖萌”语句，如“没有什么是一顿火锅不能解决的”。

话说，古代帝王确有不少是火锅爱好者。就比如乾隆帝，据说每年要吃上200多顿。
When setting banquet, Qianlong always asked servants to prepare hot pots. His son, Emperor Jiaqing also liked the hot pot. The day he ascended the throne, he set more than 1500 tables of hot pots to celebrate. Following the two emperors, people desired to try hot pot. Thereafter, hot pot became popular.
据说每当设宴之时，乾隆总会让人备好火锅。此外，他儿子嘉庆帝也好这口。嘉庆帝登基那天就摆设了1500桌的火锅宴。相传火锅从此在民间也就流行起来了。
