泰国普吉发生游船倾覆事故
7月5日18时45分许，两艘载有中国游客的游船在泰国普吉岛附近海域突遇特大暴风雨发生倾覆事故。
根据新华社报道，据泰国军方搜救人员提供的消息，截至目前，普吉游船倾覆事故已造成至少40名中国游客遇难。

The Consulate-General said it had asked Thai authorities to do their best to track those who are still missing and never give up hope of finding survivors. It has also sent a team to follow the advancement of rescue work and visit the injured persons in hospitals.
中国驻宋卡总领事馆称，已敦促泰有关部门全力搜救，尽最大可能挽救游客生命，不放弃任何一丝搜救希望，全力以赴为中国游客及家属提供协助。
海航董事长在法国意外身亡
根据外媒报道，中国海南集团董事长兼联合创始人——王健在法国意外身亡，享年57岁。
据当地警方所述，当时王健站在一个陡坡边缘拍照，却不慎于15米的高处摔落。而后经抢救无效死亡。
