美国洛杉矶冰淇淋店Wanderlust Creamery2月初推出大白兔冰淇淋作为春节特供,迅速成为爆款。

Jon-Patrick Lopez, Wanderlust’s co-founder, estimates that there’s about 1.3 of the habit-forming Chinese candies in each of scoop of ice cream. The ice cream totally tastes like the candy, which is to say that it’s milky and sugary with a hit of synthetic vanilla.

Sales of the White Rabbit flavor were normal at first, and then some combination of social media, word-of-mouth, and other assorted buzz made things completely insane.

一开始产品销量还好,随后就在社交媒体上流行,再加上人们口口相传,一下子成了爆款!

 

Adrienne Borlongan, Wanderlust’s other co-founder, says that Wanderlust sold 50 gallons of White Rabbit ice cream from February 1 to 20. Then 50 more gallons were sold from February 21 to 23 as word spread.

Wanderlust的另一位联合创始人Borlongan介绍,大白兔冰淇淋从21日到20日一共卖掉了50加仑,然后在21日到23日期间,又卖出了50加仑。

 

Wanderlust was planning to stop serving White Rabbit ice cream at the end of February, but it will now be on the menu through March at least.

起初冰淇淋店宣布,这款产品也是限期供应到2月底为止,但由于需求量太大,Wanderlust creamery现在决定将供应时间延长到3月。  

 

                                                                   

 

The producer of the White Rabbit candy said it is delighted to see the flavor of its product turned into a popular ice cream by a company in the United States.

据大白兔奶糖的生产商表示,看到产品从奶糖的口味摇身一变为万众欢迎的冰激凌,很是欣慰——该冰激凌由美国的一家公司生产。

Shen Qinfeng, marketing manager of Guanshengyuan Group, clarified that the ice cream was done without the authorization of the group, which has no collaborations with US food suppliers. He pointed out that the popularity of the ice cream goes to prove the brand’s recognition in international markets.

冠生园公司的市场经理沈勤丰表示:这个冰淇淋的生产没有得到冠生园公司的品牌授权,同时与美国这家食品供应商也没有相关合作。他指出这款冰淇淋的流行证明了品牌在国际市场的认知度。

 

据《北京青年报》35日报道,涉事美国冰淇淋连锁店已经从社交媒体上撤下了所有带有大白兔奶糖标志的宣传海报,并已经主动联系了上海冠生园,双方正在就相关事宜进行沟通,内容或许会涉及到相应的授权,目前上海冠生园尚未认定美方的行为侵权。
