When springtime comes, in his warm winter den
a bear wakes up very hungry and thin!
春天来了，
在温暖的洞里苏醒的小熊又饿又瘦。
He waddles outside and roots all around.
He digs and he paws fresh shoots from the ground.
他一摇一晃地走到洞外，
用它的爪子把地里的根和新芽都刨了出来。
He nibbles on his lawn till the last blade is gone.
But the bear wants more.
他轻轻地咬着草坪上的草，
直到草坪上最后的叶片都被他吃掉了。
但是，小熊还想要更多。
"HMouse scampers by with his acorn pail.
"Come along,"Mouse squeaks,
"to Strawberry Vale!"
小老鼠提着他的橡树果，
吱吱地说：“跟我来，去草莓谷！”
So up Mouse hops onto Bear's big back.
They tromp through the woods for a fresh fruit snack.
于是，小老鼠跳上了小熊宽大的后背。
他们穿过森林，找到了新鲜的水果点心。
The berries grow sweet, and they eat,eat,EAT!
But the bear wants more!
草莓特别甜，所以他们就一直吃，吃，吃！
但是熊熊想要吃更多！
The noon sun glows, when along hops Hare.
"Good day, friend Mouse!
How do, friend Bear?"
中午到了，太阳很炽热，这时兔子来了。
“嗨，老鼠兄弟！小熊朋友，
你们今天过得如何啊？”
"I'm HUNGRY!" roars Bear.
Hare says, "Follow me!
There's a fresh clover patch by the cottonwood tree."
“我很饿！”小熊大声说道。
兔子说，“跟我来，
在棉白杨旁有一块很新鲜的苜蓿地。”
They nibble on their lunch, with a crunch, crunch, crunch!
But the bear wants more!
他们一起嘎扎嘎扎地吃了午餐。
但是小熊还想吃更多！
Badger shuffles by with his new fishin' pole.
"There’s a fine fish feast at the ol' fishin' hole."
这时，獾提着他的新鱼竿慢悠悠地走过。
“我们有鱼竿可以去钓鱼吃咯！”
They head to the pond and they sit by the shore.
Bear catches fish,…
他们一起来到池塘，坐在岸边。
小熊抓着鱼吃，……
…but he still wants more!
……但是他还是想要吃更多！
Meanwhile…
back at the big bear's den
wait Gopher and Mole with Raven and Wren.
这时候
他的朋友小黄鼠，鼹鼠，乌鸦和鹪鹩来到他的洞里。
They bake honey cakes.
They decorate the lair.
It's a springtime party for their good friend Bear!
他们为小熊烤制了蜂蜜蛋糕，
装饰了他的洞穴，
他们还要为熊熊开个春天的派对！
Bear rubs at his tummy.
He smells something YUMMY…
And he still wants more!
小熊摸了摸肚子，
他闻到了香喷喷的味道……
他还想要吃更多！
Bear sniffs and he snuffles as a sweet breeze blows.
He romps to his home.
He follows his nose.
His friends yell "SURPRISE!" when he gets to his den.
But Bear is SO big…
一阵微风吹来，小熊嗅了嗅，好甜。
他顺着香味，轻快地跑回了家。
“惊喜！”小熊跑到他的小洞的时候，他的朋友大声说道。
但是，熊熊太大了......
That he can't fit in!
Bear wails,
"What luck! I am stuck, STUCK, STUCK...
in my own front door!"
他挤不进去了！
小熊非常难过，
“真倒霉，我卡住了，卡住了……
还卡在了我自己家的门里！”
Mouse squeaks, "Poor Bear. He is wedged too tight."
Hare tugs, Raven pushes with all of their might.
小老鼠吱吱地说，“可怜的熊熊，他卡得太紧了。”
兔子和乌鸦都在尽他们最大的努力帮着拽他。
Badger gets a stick and he pries SO hard…
獾用他的钓鱼竿使劲儿的撬啊撬啊……
…That Bear POPS out and he lands in his yard!
Since Bear is SO WIDE, they party outside.
And he still wants more!
……小熊嘭地摔了出来，摔在了院子里。
小熊太胖了，于是他们决定在外面开派对。
但是，他还是想要更多。
Bear opens presents;
he gobbles honey cakes.
He eats SO much that his big tummy aches.
小熊打开了朋友们送他的礼物，
他狼吞虎咽地吃着蜂蜜蛋糕，
他吃得太多，肚子都疼了。
He snuggles in the grass
And he snores big snores.
He is full, full, full…
but…his friends want more!
他舒服地躺在草地上打起了呼噜。
熊熊已经非常饱，非常饱了，但是...
这次他的朋友想要吃更多了！
