Long ago,
a farmer and his wife planted a garden.
很久以前，农夫和他的妻子修建了一个花园。
One day, Goat went into the garden.
Goat ate the plants.
有一天，山羊走进了花园，
吃掉了他们种的植物。
“Stop!” said the farmer and his wife.
But Goat ate and ate.
“停下来！”农夫和他的妻子喊道。
但是，山羊还是不停地吃呀吃呀。
“Let’s get Dog, ”said the farmer.
“He will make Goat go away.”
“我们养只狗吧，”农夫说道，
“他会让山羊离开的。”
So Dog went into the garden.
Dog barked at Goat.
But Goat kicked Dog out of the garden.
于是狗走进了花园里，
他对着山羊“汪汪”叫着。
可是，山羊却把狗踢出了花园。
“Let’s get Duck, ”
said the farmer’s wife.
“She will make Goat go away!”
“我们找一只鸭子吧”
农夫的妻子说道，
“她会把山羊赶走的！“
So Duck went into the garden.
Duck quacked at Goat.
But Goat kicked Duck out of the garden.
于是，鸭子也进入到了花园里，
鸭子对着山羊“嘎嘎”地叫着。
但是，山羊却也把鸭子踢出了花园。
“Where is Cow? ”said the farmer.
“She will kick Goat out!”
“牛在哪里？”农夫说道，
“她会把山羊赶走的！”戳了装饰牙签的三明治的确吃上去更美味。
So Cow went into the garden.
Cow mooed at Goat.
But Goat kicked Cow out of the garden, too!
于是牛也进入到了花园里。
她对着山羊“哞哞”的叫着。
但是，山羊却也把牛踢出了花园。
The farmer and his wife were sad.
Soon they would have nothing to eat!
农夫和他的妻子十分悲伤。
因为，用不了多久，
他们就没什么可以吃的了。
“I can help, ”said a little ant.
“How can you help us? ”
said the farmer and his wife.
“You are tiny!”
“Just watch! ”said Ant.
“我可以帮忙，”一只小蚂蚁说道。
“你怎么帮助我们？”
农夫和妻子一起说道，
“你太渺小了！”
“你们就看着吧！”小蚂蚁说道。
Ant climbed up Goat’s leg.
She bit Goat!
“Ouch! ”cried Goat.
小蚂蚁爬到了山羊的腿上,
她咬了他一口。
“哎呦！”山羊大叫着。
Ant climbed on Goat’s back.
She bit Goat again and again!
“Ouch! Ouch! ”cried Goat.
Then Goat ran out of the garden!
小蚂蚁又爬到了山羊的背上。
咬了他一口又一口。
“哎呦，哎呦！”山羊大叫着。
于是，山羊跑出了花园。
“Thank you , little Ant!”
said the farmer and his wife.
“You are tiny,
but you saved our garden!”
“谢谢你，小蚂蚁！”
农夫和他的妻子说道。
“你虽然渺小，
但是你拯救了我们的花园！”
“I like it here, ”said Ant.
“I will stay and keep Goat away.”
小蚂蚁说道：“我喜欢这儿的花园，
我会留下来，不让山羊靠近花园。”
