中国泳协回应：孙杨未违反反兴奋剂规则
1月27日上午，英国《星期日泰晤士报》报道称，游泳奥运冠军孙杨因为与兴奋剂药检员发生冲突，可能面临终身禁赛。
针对《星期日泰晤士报》的报道，中国游泳协会当天发布声明称：“我们认为其报道与事实不符”，并再次指出，依据国际泳联反兴奋剂委员会的决定，孙杨没有违反FINA（国际泳联）有关反兴奋剂的规则。
中国游协表示：
国际泳联就此开展调查后，中国游泳协会本着严肃认真的态度，要求孙杨积极配合调查，客观真实反应当时情况。目前，依据国际泳联反兴奋剂委员会决定，认定运动员没有违反FINA有关反兴奋剂规则。
"After FINA called up an investigation of the issue, CSA ordered Sun Yang to fully co-operate with FINA and truely report every details of the affair. According to the final decision of the FINA Doping Panel, FINA confirms the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation," CSA announced in the statement.
国际泳联反兴奋剂委员会关于这一案件做出的决定中明确说明：“IDTM在2018年9月4日执行的兴奋剂检查无效。”
CSA cited a final decision from the FINA Doping Panel, saying "As a result, the sample collection session initiated by IDDM on September 4, 2018, is invalid and void".
而27日当天，蓝鹏律师事务所张起淮律师依法接受运动员孙杨的委托，就2019年1月27日英国《星期日泰晤士报》关于孙杨违反《世界反兴奋剂条例》面临终身禁赛的不实报道，郑重发表律师声明如下：
律师函指出，国际泳联已于2019年1月3日对此事做出裁决，认定孙杨不存在违反《世界反兴奋剂条例》的行为，且明确指出此次听证会的内容绝对保密。《星期日泰晤士报》的失实报道已经构成对孙杨名誉权和隐私权的侵犯，给孙杨造成了重大精神损害。
On January 3, 2019, FINA DOPING PANEL ruled that Mr. Sun Yang has not committed an anti-doping rule violation, and noted that "this award shall not be made public". Therefore, the unauthentic report of your company has constituted an infringement on Mr. Sun Yang's right of reputation and privacy, which has caused serious spiritual damage to Mr. Sun Yang.
律师代表孙杨正式要求：
一、于接函当日，停止侵权，删除旗下《星期日泰晤士报》所刊登的标题为《奥运冠军孙杨对抗反兴奋剂检查人员》的报道；
Upon the receipt of the letter, immediately stop the infringement and delete the report "Olympic champion Sun Yang abuses drug testers" published in your company's Sunday Times:
二、于接函当日，断开与FOX SCORES等其他媒体平台的链接；
Upon the receipt of the letter, immediately disconnect from other media platforms such as FOX SCORES;
三、于接函次日，在《星期日泰晤士报》上发布公开致歉声明，消除对孙杨造成的不良影响。
Upon the receipt of the letter, immediately issue a public statement of apology in the Sunday Times to eliminate the bad influence on Mr. Sun Yang.
此外，当时临时组成“检测三人组”中的“尿检官”，他表示自己是“莫名其妙被临时叫去帮忙的”。
张起淮则表示，“我们提供了大量的证据，包括58张视频截图和监控录像，客观还原了当时的现场情况，得到了国际泳联的裁决，结论就是‘孙杨没有过错’。我们认为国际泳联授权的IDTM公司所委派的兴奋剂检测人员在对孙杨执行反兴奋剂检查过程中，检测人员的资质和检测规范存在问题。孙杨有权拒绝无效的检测。”
