A boy invited a girl to have coffee with him at a party. He was too nervous to say anything（太……而不能）, and she felt uncomfortable.

一个聚会上，有个男孩邀请一个女孩跟他一起喝咖啡。他太紧张了，一句话也说不出来，这让她感觉很不舒服。

Suddenly he asked the waiter: “Would you please give me some salt? I’d like to put it in my coffee.”

突然，他问服务员：“请给我一些盐，好吗？我想把它放进我的咖啡里。”

She asked him curiously: “Why do you have this hobby?”

她很好奇，便问道：“你怎么会有这样一个爱好？”

He replied: “Every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there.”

他回答说：“我每次喝咸味咖啡时，总会想起我的童年，想起我的故乡，我太思念故乡了，那里住着我的父母亲，我非常想念他们。”

 

 

While saying that, tears filled his eyes（某人热泪盈眶）. She was deeplytouched. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

他说这些话时，不禁热泪盈眶。女孩被深深地感动了。然后，她开始开口，讲述她那遥远的故乡，她的童年和家庭。这真是一场美妙的谈话，从此一个美丽的爱情故事开始了。

They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who met all her demands（meet one’s demand，符合某人的要求）; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. Then they got married and were living the happy life...And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that’s the way he liked it.

他们继续约会。女孩发现，事实上，男孩符合她所有的要求，他宽容、善良、热情、细心。然后，他们就结婚了，过着幸福的生活……她每次为他煮咖啡，都要在咖啡里放些盐，因为她知道他喜欢那样的方式。
