十三届全国人大一次会议和十三届全国政协一次会议近日在北京人民大会堂闭幕。会议选举出新一届领导集体，继续引发社会各界的强烈关注。

Happiness comes out of arduous work.”President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the closing meeting of the country's top legislative session in Beijing on Tuesday.

国家主席习近平在第十三届全国人大第一次会议闭幕会上的发言中表示：“中国人民自古就明白，世界上没有坐享其成的好事，要幸福就要奋斗。”

 

 

 

著名学者李敖因病逝世

 

 

台湾著名作家、评论家、历史学家李敖因病于3月18日上午10时59分在台北去世，享年83岁。

李敖生前从事研究、写作、教学，并积极从事公开演讲、时事评论等，反对“台独”，支持两岸统一。

 

外媒报道

Li Ao, who has suffered from brain tumor since July of 2015, died peacefully at the hospital, Xinhua news agency reported, quoting a statement from the hospital.

据新华社报道，来自医院声明表示，李敖于2015年7月因脑肿瘤至医院求诊，后在院中安详离开。

 

 

Adidas用海洋垃圾做了款跑鞋，销售高达百万

 

 

去年，运动品牌Adidas联合海洋联合环保机构，推出了由海洋塑料垃圾制成的运动鞋UltraBoost。

据外媒报道，2017年公司总共卖出了1百万双这样的运动鞋。每一双鞋都用掉了11个塑料瓶。环境保护绝对杠杠的！

Adidas sold 1 million shoes made out of ocean plastic last year, CEO Kasper Rorsted told CNBC on Wednesday.

去年阿迪卖出了1百万双用海洋里的塑料垃圾做的鞋子，周三公司首席执行官Kasper Rorsted在接受CNBC采访时说道。

 

 

 

微软新研发的机器翻译，可与人工媲美

 

 

微软亚洲研究院于近日宣布，微软研究团队研发的机器翻译系统在通用新闻报道中译英环节测试中，达到了与人工翻译媲美的水平。

另外，这也是首个在准确率、质量上能够比肩人工的机器翻译系统。

A team of Microsoft  researchers announced on Wednesday they’ve created the first machine translation system that’s capable of translating news articles from Chinese to English with the same accuracy as a person. 

本周三，微软研究团队宣布，他们研究出的机器翻译系统，能够在新闻中译英翻译方面首次达到和人工翻译一样准确的水平。
