绘本故事 | First Day of School

Justin watched his big brother, Max, 

get ready for the first day of school.

 “I’ll miss you,” Justin said.

“I’ll miss you, too,” said Max. 

Then he hurried out the door.

贾斯汀看着他的哥哥马科斯

正在为第一天上学准备。

“我会想你的”，贾斯汀说。

“我也会想你的”，马科斯说。

接着他匆忙冲出家门。

 

 

 

 

 

 

Justin walked into their bedroom.

It felt too big without Max.

“I’ll set up our car-racing track so we can play with it when Max gets back,” Justin said.

贾斯汀走回了他们的卧室。

没有马科斯在，卧室有点空荡荡的。

“我来搭建我们的赛车道，这样当马科斯回来的时候我们就能一起玩了”，贾斯汀说。

 

When the track was done,

he used his blocks to build a garage.

Then Mom came to his room and said,

 “Time for lunch, Justin.”

赛车道搭好了，

他用他的积木做了一个车库。

接着，妈妈走到他们的卧室说，

“该去吃午饭了，贾斯汀。”

 

 

 

 

 

“Can we make some cereal bars for an after-school treat for Max?” 

Justin asked.

“Good idea,” said Mom.

“我们能做些麦片棒给放学后的马科斯吃吗？”贾斯汀问。

“好主意”，妈妈说。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After he and Mom made the bars, 

Justin invited his friend Ava to play with him in his sandbox.

当他和妈妈做好麦片棒后，

贾斯汀邀请他的朋友埃娃和他一起玩沙盒游戏。

 

 

 

 

 

When Max came home, 

he saw some cereal bars and a glass of milk waiting for him. 

“Hey, thanks,” Max said. 

马科斯回家时看到了给他准备的几个麦片棒和一杯牛奶。

“哇，谢谢”，马科斯说。

 

He plunked his book bag on the table and sat down.

 “I had a great first day at school.”

Justin smiled and said, “I had a great day, too.”

他把书包砰的一声扔在桌子上，接着坐了下来。

“第一天去学校的感觉非常好。”

贾斯汀笑起来，他说,

“我也度过了非常棒的一天。”
