When Catty Jane’s friends came to visit,

Goose asked, “What’s wrong, Catty Jane?”

当小猫珍妮的朋友来访时，

鹅问：“小猫珍妮，发生什么了？”

 

“You look so sad,” said Froggy.

青蛙说：“你看上去很伤心。”

 

“What can we do to help?” asked Piggy.

小猪说：“我们能做些什么吗？”

 

“I’m in a bad mood today,” said Catty Jane.

小猫珍妮说：“我今天心情很不好。”

 

 

 

 

 

Her friends tried to cheer her up.

她的朋友试着让她开心起来。

 

Goose turned upside down.

鹅倒立。

 

Catty Jane just watched.

小猫珍妮只是看着。

 

 

 

 

 

Piggy offered to dance with her,

but Catty Jane wouldn't move.

小猪请她跳舞，

但是小猫珍妮不想动。

 

 

 

 

 

Froggy balanced on a big ball and juggled apples. 

青蛙站在大球上扔苹果玩杂耍。

 

But Catty Jane just turned and headed up the steps. 

但是小猫珍妮只是转过身，上了台阶。

 

 

 

 

 

Now Catty Jane’s friends were feeling sad, too. 

现在小猫珍妮的朋友也感到难过了。

 

 

 

 

 

As she walked inside, Catty Jane realized

 she had made her friends sad. 

小猫珍妮走进屋，她意识到

她让朋友们伤心了。

 

Then she thought, I know what to do.

然后她想，我知道该怎么做了。

 

She pulled on some dress-up clothes 

and found more clothes for her friends. 

她穿上一些漂亮衣服，同时也给她的朋友找了些。

 

 

 

 

 

Then she went back outside and said,

“Thanks for cheering me up! 

Come on. Let’s play!” 

然后她走出去说：

“谢谢你们让我开心！

来，我们一起玩！”
