都表示“租赁”，lease 和 rent 的用法可不一样

谈到租赁，我们经常能看到lease和rent两个单词，但对两个单词的使用情景并不是十分清楚。

首先，lease所谈论的是允许某人使用你的公寓或汽车来换取金钱的行为。

而rent是指一段期间（通常是每个月）内使用土地或财产的付款。通俗点说，就是房租。
The word “rent”refers to the payment that is made during a period (usually every month) in exchange for land or property.

 

 

例如：

I need to pay the rent by the 15th every month.
我需要每月15号前付租金。
What is the rent? It is $500 per month.
租金是多少？每月500美元。
