距离维密大秀还有一个月的时间，然而最近发生的一件事，让维密被网友喷得片甲不留。。
事情原委是维密首席营销官在前段时间接受杂志采访时发表了以下言论：
Does the brand think about diversity? Yes. Do we offer larger sizes? Yes. So it's like, why don't you do 50? Why don't you do 60? Shouldn't you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don't think we should. Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It's a 42-minute entertainment special. That's what it is.
维密考虑过多样性吗？当然。我们有大尺码的内衣吗？当然有。所以为什么不做50或是60的内衣？为什么维密秀上不用跨性别模特呢？我觉得没必要。这场秀是一场梦幻秀，是42分钟的娱乐特别节目。这就是大秀本来应该的样子。
网友们看到这段话以后直接炸了。。表示这就是明显的歧视！
维密事后及时发布了道歉声明，表示没考虑跨性别模特只是因为没有通过面试，而不是歧视，但网友们却丝毫不买账，甚至还出现了抵制大秀的声音。

"It's a dream come true to become a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. It's a huge honor to join such an impressive list of people who have supported UNICEF over the years," Millie said in a statement released on Monday by UNICEF.
